Messy Play and Sensory

ABOUT
Let your little ones discover messy play in a calm and relaxed environment. Focusing on the process rather than the end product. Play is a fundamental part of a babies and toddlers’ development. I have a desire to make play unique and fun, allowing the babies and toddlers to develop new skills and experiences by learning through all senses. In this class we encourage babies and toddlers to explore using their whole bodies in a safe and secure learning space. We use the Early Years Curriculum Outcomes to help design each class to be developmentally and age appropriate.
With the option of messy play, sensory play or just to come for a chat and socialise with other parents. We look forward to welcoming you into our brand-new class.
WHAT HAPPENS IN A MESSY PLAY AND SENSORY CLASS?
Each class will be based around a theme, parents and carers will have free time to explore the invitations to play with their babies and toddlers and chat to other parents. Hot drinks and snacks will also be available. At the end of the session, babies, toddlers and parents can chose to take part in singing, sensory activities, bubbles and more.
WHAT AGE IS THIS CLASS SUITABLE FOR?
The messy play and sensory session is suitable for babies and toddlers 6 months to 3 years old due to the resources used in the messy play. However, if you have a baby under 6 months old, we understand how difficult it can be to get out of the house. Come along with your little bundles for a discounted price, get yourself a hot drink, make new friends and enjoy the sensory area and social side of our class. We just ask that you do not allow babies under 6 months in the messy play due to these activities not been developmentally suitable. Feel free to send me a message if you are unsure.
